Want to become a member of the Caldwell-Lake George Library? It’s easy! As long as you live in our service area, you qualify for a library card. Visitors to the area that have a temporary address in the service area for at least one month of the year also qualify for a temporary/seasonal library card!

You can fill out an application at the library, or you can download one from this webpage. You can print and fill out your application, or use a PDF filler to fill it out on your computer. Once you’ve filled out your application, you can email it to us at lkg-director@sals.edu or caldwelllibrary.lakegeorge@gmail.com. If you’re mailing us your application, send it to:

You’ll have to stop by the library to pick up your card in person! If you want advanced access to your unique borrowing ID number on your card, let us know and we can give you your card number as soon as we process your application that way you can access all of our digital content right away.
