The Caldwell-Lake George Library Book Club will meet on Thursday, June 18th at 6:30 PM to discuss How to Read a Book by Monica Wood. Please note this is a Thursday — a change from our usual second Wednesday!
A young woman leaves prison after a fatal drunk-driving crash, the retired teacher who ran the prison book club faces an empty nest, and the widower of the woman killed still carries unresolved grief. When all three cross paths one morning in a Portland bookstore, their lives begin to intersect in quietly transformative ways.
