Inspired by the Masters: Van Gogh's Wheatfields Under Cloud Filled Sky

Treat yourself to a fun and relaxing painting experience with the vibrant, expressive medium of acrylics! Whether you've never picked up a brush or you paint regularly, Patrice welcomes all skill levels in a supportive, creative atmosphere. She'll guide you through color mixing and layering techniques every step of the way. All supplies are provided, and everyone leaves with a finished piece to take home.

This month, we are inspired by Vincent van Gogh's Wheatfields Under Cloud Filled Sky. Van Gogh painted his landscapes with bold, swirling brushstrokes and intense, emotional color, transforming an ordinary field beneath a dramatic sky into something alive with energy and feeling. His work invites us to see the natural world not just as it is, but as it moves us.

This class is the second in our series, Inspired by the Masters. In each class, you'll learn what the Master artist was trying to convey and the methods to help achieve it, practicing techniques that are valuable in acrylic painting. Each session also includes the history behind the featured Master artist and the important role they played in the world of art.
