Artist Reception: Barbara Monroe

Our newest Project Local exhibition features paintings, pins and notecards by Barbara Monroe. Barbara has chosen watercolor as her medium of preference because of its consistency, transparency, and unique and exciting ability to mingle and blend its colors. Organic subjects hold the biggest attraction for her to preserve through painting. Barbara reflects that this particular focus has timelessness and is personally meaningful, preserving some of her warmest memories.
